It has been quite a number of years since Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College(SAKEC) is conducting its “Alumni Meet”. This meet is not just about meeting and greeting of ex-students but has also helped with meaningful insights and boosting the confidence of current students of SAKEC who are on the verge of exploring their corporate life, more specifically B.E Last year students.
This year in SAKEC alumni meet 2020, we met an inspiring personality, ‘Mr. Nirav Shah’, who is an alumni (I.T Branch 2011 pass out) and founder of MUQuestionPapers and working as Associate Consultant in Tata Consultancy Services.

‘Giving back to the society’, this was the real moto behind creating Mumbai University Question Papers website which nevertheless could not gain success in its first attempt.

Failure is merely a lesson learnt; with this thought, Nirav Shah causally discussed his idea with one of his friend, Mr. Chintak Dholakia. They both decided to give a second attempt to the website, this time with much more planning and dedication.
Gathering University question papers was heart of the website besides a user friendly and convenient interface. Hence the platform demanded someone who was directly linked to university question papers, nonetheless a student currently pursuing engineering. With this, Nirav’s cousin, Mr. Bhavin Shah who is also a SAKEC alumni, (I.T. Branch 2018 pass out) pursuing engineering from our college that time, joined in to accomplish the mission.

MUQuestionPapers.com is an education platform for providing study resources for Mumbai University students which is one of the largest universities in the world. This website is currently holding number one rank in google. Initially, the website was providing only previous years university question papers which is now expanded to providing Solutions, Model Answers Sheet, University Results, University news and relevant jobs for students.
This platform was launched in Apr’15 and witnessing exponential growth each year. It is a freemium subscription model which provides a one-stop solution, offering study materials under one roof.
Apart from Mumbai University, this idea has been expanded to Savitribai Phule Pune University and Gujarat Technological University.

It was surprising and exciting to know the person behind the scene and his success story.
The meet not just concluded with his journey but has also opened path for the journey of other students ready to bloom as professionals by his motivation. We also learnt one valuable lesson of life that day, we are bound to either succeed or fail, never stop at either.
